The players from Lichfield Cathedral School took part in a matchday coaching clinic before watching the Aviva Premiership game against Gloucester. As well as learning skills with coaches, the junior stars also got the chance to quiz Tigers first-team players Adam Thompstone and Brendon O’Connor about life in professional rugby. Matt Turner, Head of PE at Lichfield Cathedral School, said: “Our group really enjoyed the coaching session this morning and we all learnt a lot from the Tigers coaches. “We’ve all had a fantastic day out and would recommend it to anyone looking to develop.”
