Groups in Lichfield are being urged to apply for grant funding.

Lichfield City Council handed out more than £28,000 to clubs, societies and voluntary groups last year.

Organisations that operate for the benefit of those living within the boundary of the city are eligible to apply.

Cllr David Smedley, leader of Lichfield City Council, said: “We are very fortunate to have a wide range of local clubs and societies in the city which support the needs and interests of our citizens.

“Grants provided by the council can support an organisation’s general funding, or provide help with some special project.”

Grant forms are available by emailing [email protected]. Completed forms must be returned by January 8, 2018.
