The history of Shenstone will be the focus of an event at the village’s library.

The local history evening, which takes place from 7pm to 9pm on October 17, will see photographs and a film exploring the area’s past.

A spokesperson for Shenstone Community Library said: “The evening will also coincide with a local history display in our new art gallery, where you will be able to view photos and information about the village and see how it used to be and how it has changed.

“We do hope people can join us in transporting back in time and learning more about our beautiful village of Shenstone.”

Admission to the local history evening is £2. Tickets can be booked in person at the library. For more details visit
