Players will get the chance to buy one get one free on a round from 9am to 3pm on October 23 to mark the opening.

Councillor Iain Eadie, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet member for leisure, said: “We’re really excited to be officially launching our new disc and foot golf facilities later this month.

“It’s really important to get more people out and active, and these two games offer fun ways to use the golf course.

“We hope plenty of people will take advantage of the special offer on the day and come down and have a go at these two brilliant new games.”

It costs £8 for adults and £6 for children for an 18-hole game, and £5 for adults and £4 for children for a 9-hole game.
