They are being held between 10am and 4pm on October 28 as part of the global Big Draw initiative.

This year’s theme is Living Lines and aims to bring together pixels, pencils and people.

Artist Francis Lowe will offer an animation workshop outside The Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum, while other artists will be
at Speakers’ Corner on Dam Street and in the Three Spires Shopping Centre offering free art activities.

Councillor Ian Pritchard said: “Getting involved in The Big Draw is a fantastic way to get the country drawing and creating art.

“Lichfield’s activities offer locals and visitors alike the chance to try different art techniques for free and we hope plenty of people of all ages will get involved.”
