A Lichfield law firm has appointed a new partner.
Catherine Elliott will join the board of Keelys Solicitors, as well as taking on the role as head of wills, trusts and probate.
She has previously worked in Birmingham for Shoosmiths.
“I’m so pleased to be at Keelys for so many reasons,” Catherine said. “Apart from Lichfield being a wonderful place to work, I really enjoy the client contact in my new post, which is very different to the more corporate environment I’ve come from.
“Despite a changing world, meeting people face to face and really getting to understand them and recommend the best solutions is still far and away the best way to approach wills, estate and tax planning and much of law.”
Sharon Lawrence, senior partner at Keelys, said the appointment was a big boost for the firm.
“Catherine brings a huge bank of experience,” she said. “But as well as that she has a welcoming and enthusiastic manner, which embodies the values of how we approach law.
“We are honoured to welcome somebody with such a high pedigree to the firm and are sure that she will be a huge part in our success in the coming years.”
