Former Heath Hayes boss Jamie Hawkins has been appointed as the new manager at Lichfield City FC. The 34-year-old, who also spent six years as assistant manager at Walsall Wood, will take over from Dave Langston who stepped down before Christmas. The UEFA B qualified coach will begin his tenure with a trip to Studley tomorrow. “I am delighted to be given the opportunity to manage Lichfield City,” he said. “I am excited to work with and try to improve what is already a good squad of players and I can’t wait to get going.”
