Chasetown FC have received a boost after skipper Jack Langston rejected an approach from Halesowen Town.

The Yeltz had made a seven-day approach for the former Stafford Rangers man, but manager Scott Dundas told the club’s website his captain was going nowhere.

“Jack took no time at all to inform me that he was going nowhere and was looking forward to the challenge of the next three months as we try and push for the play offs,” he said.

“The management team and club are delighted with Jack’s decision.”

One player who will be departing though, is Matt Gardner who has agreed a move to Corby Town.
