Simon Price has been appointed to the role with The Community Foundation for Staffordshire.

The chief executive of cutlery firm Arthur Price and patron of the We Love Lichfield fund will join Stafford-based consultant Jonathan Andrew in the role.

Simon’s role seeing him focus on raise awareness of the organisation and leading its local community funds.

Steve Adams, chief executive of The Community Foundation For Staffordshire, said: “We are growing every year and expect to have funds valued at £20million by 2025 which would see us as one of the biggest of its kind in the UK.

“We celebrate ten years in operation in 2018 and have grown significantly in the past few years, giving away over £1m per year across the county.

“The positions of vice chair have been created to ensure we not only hit the target, but mostly importantly increase the amount we can distribute to those in need and organisations that make a difference to our communities.”
