Police invite Lichfield residents to have their say on local issues in online chat

People in Lichfield are being invited to an online chat about local policing issues.

Officers from Staffordshire Police will be available at 7pm on February 21 to discuss concerns they might have about their area.

Inspector Joanne Rea, local policing commander for Lichfield, said: “We would like to encourage as many people as possible to get in touch.

“By using their preferred digital channel, it enables us to reach and engage with a wider audience, making it more convenient for people to discuss directly with officers any concerns they may have.

“This new digital method of getting in touch will not replace traditional methods, such as public meetings and drop in surgeries, however, if successful, we will look to hold more events.”

Comments can be submitted online or via Twitter using the #staffspolielivechat. The force will also be taking questions and observations via Facebook and Instagram.
