A number of jobs could be at risk at the Lichfield Mercury newspaper. A report from industry news site Holdthefrontpage says 19 editorial roles at the Tamworth centre – where the Mercury is produced – are at risk as part of a move to cut 49 editorial brands across the Trinity Mirror network. The move follows a decision to consume the newspaper’s website into the Birmingham Mail’s rebranded Birmingham Live online site.
