The line-up has been confirmed for the 2018 Lichfield Arts Blues and Jazz Festival. The showcase takes place from June 1 to 3 and features leading names such as Stan Webb’s Chicken Shack, Theo Travis Double Talk, The Annie Whitehead Quartet, Steve Ajao Blues Giants, The Sara Gillespie Quartet and King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys. There will also be appearances from local acts such as Imperial Strut, Blast Off, Robert Jackson, Emma Johnson Boogie Woogie Quartet and The Shooters. The festival takes place at venues such as the Lichfield Guildhall, Lichfield Sports Club and The Cathedral Hotel. Festival Director Brian Pretty said: “This is our fourth Lichfield Arts Blues and Jazz Festival and it promises to be one of the best. “We have leading national names, such as Stan Webb’s Chicken Shack and King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys, and jazz music from Annie Whitehead and Theo Travis.
