Coffee and cake evening at Shenstone Community Library to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society

Coffee and cake will be on offer at a charity evening in Lichfield.

Shenstone Community Library will host the event at 7.30pm on April 16.

Locally roasted coffee and cakes created by local bakers will be on offer in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

A spokesperson for the library said: “One of our volunteers, who also bakes gluten-free cakes for us, is the West Midlands representative on the England Council for MS. Her daughter, who lives in Australia was diagnosed with MS some years ago, so it’s a charity close to her heart.

“Alongside the coffee, there will be taster cubes of cakes to complement specific coffees. The cakes will be made by some of the Coffee Shop’s amazing volunteer bakers who will introduce the cake they have made for the tasting evening – you may even be able to take their secret recipes away with you.”

Tickets are £7 and are available from the library. For more details call 01543 480915.
