Organisers say tickets are selling well for the 2018 Lichfield Blues and Jazz Festival.
The event gets underway on Friday, June 1 with the likes of Stan Webb’s Chicken Shack and Northbound appearing on the opening night at Lichfield Sports Club, while the Cathedral Hotel will host jazz quartet Imperial Strut
The following day will see Robert Jackson return from a tour in the USA to play at the Lichfield Guildhall. Other acts on the day include the Zoe Green Band, Emma Johnson’s boogie woogie quartet, Theo Travis’ Double Talk, the Annie Whitehead Quartet, Tom Lindsay and Three Step Manoueuvre.
The Sunday line-up includes the likes of the Steve Ajao Blues Giants, The Shooters, the Tom Morgan Trio, Sara Gillespie and the Walsall Jazz Orchestra.
The grand finale to the event will feature King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys who will celebrate their 30th anniversary at the Guildhall.
