Around 20 sponsors have signed up to support the Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park – and organisers are looking for even more.
The free event takes place on September 1 and features live music as well as a fireworks finale.
But Lichfield District Council is now looking for more supporters to make the 20th anniversary of the event even better.
Lyn Hammant, Lichfield Historic Parks manager, said: “It would be amazing to welcome back previous supporters, to see and experience the fantastic event it has now become.”
The 2018 Lichfield Proms will feature The British Police Symphony Orchestra and the City of Lichfield Concert Band.
Sponsors will get to see their logo appear on material relating to the event as well as having access to VIP seating and parking on the night. Packages start at £250.
Councillor Iain Eadie, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet member for leisure, said: “A huge thank you to all our sponsors so far – without you we couldn’t offer Lichfield Proms each year and keep it free entry.
“We are now seeking more sponsors and hope local and regional companies will come forward and get involved.
“It’s such a brilliant night and this year’s event is set to be extra special as we celebrate 20 years of Lichfield Proms. So, do get involved and help us end the summer in style.”
Among the sponsors to have signed up so far are:
- Keelys Solicitors
- Allen Brown Jewellery
- Moseleys Solicitors
- Strongs Plastic Products Ltd
- Vantage Motor Group
- Beacon Street Garage
- Secret Garden
- Lichfield Chamber of Trade and Commerce
- Blue Print Designs
