Police have released CCTV after a wallet was stolen from a Lichfield pub.

The incident happened between 12.30pm and 1pm on May 15 at the Horse and Jockey on Sandford Street.

The tan wallet belonged to an elderly man and contained what police described as a “quantity of cash”.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “We would like to speak to the man captured in the CCTV image in connection with the theft.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact officers on 101 quoting incident number 457 of 15 May.
