The theme park teamed up with the KidsOut charity and Rotary International to host the Big Day Out for the 29th year.

More than 8,000 visitors attended as part of the national event which allows disabled, disadvantaged and special needs children to visit attractions across the country.

Colin Bryan, Chairman at Drayton Manor Park said: “The KidsOut relationship is an initiative that’s so close to the Bryan family heart as it initially began with my father, George Bryan OBE, the founder of Drayton Manor.

“As an event that helps provide vulnerable children with an opportunity to forget about the tough times, have fun and make memories that will last a lifetime, KidsOut day out will always be a highlight in our calendar year.

“It is an honour to open up our gates and simply priceless to see these children smile as some of them experience the thrill of a rollercoaster for the first time.”
