A free festival of cycling is returning to Lichfield.
It’s the second time the Ride Lichfield event has taken place and will offer activities for those in the saddle from June 29 to July 1.
The weekend is organised by Minster Hall-based project Lichfield Re:Cycle.
The Last Friday ride kicks off the action at 7pm on the first evening of the festival, where riders will meet at Speakers’ Corner at 7pm before heading for a mystery location.
The following day sees the family-friendly Lichfield Jolly take place, with the group starting from Speakers’ Corner at 4pm before making their way to Curborough Community Centre for a celebration event featuring free food, entertainment and a bouncy castle from 5pm to 7pm. Non-riders are also invited to join the fun.
The event wraps up on July 1 with the second Ride Lichfield sportive taking place over 60km and a 100km routes.
