A local bus company is trying to get more people to hop on board by cutting prices for a week.

Midland Classic is making the changes as part of Catch the Bus Week which runs until July 8.

The company, which operates services between Lichfield and Burton, has reduced adult and child classic weekly saver tickets reduced to £10 for the week.

Midland Classic’s operations manager Michael Cartwright said: “With our reduced prices during Catch the Bus Week, there has never been a better time to park and ride to try the bus as a viable alternative to using the car.

“Do your bit during Catch the Bus Week to help to free up our gridlocked roads.”

Just what route would this be then?
I have looked at the Midland Classic website, and there does not seem to be any mention of a bus route connecting Lichfield and Burntwood, its mainly only services round and about Burton.

Thanks, Ross. I looked at those services on the website, and as I say, I cannot see how they go anywhere near Burntwood. Lichfield, yes, but not Burntwood.
