Thousands enjoy free activities as the National Memorial Arboretum hosts Armed Forces Day celebrations

Thousands of visitors headed for the National Memorial Arboretum to mark Armed Forces Day weekend.

The warm weather combined with a range of free activities meant the crowds turned out in force for the annual event.

Flypasts by historic aircraft, including a World War Two Spitfire, as well as a parachute display were also on offer.
