He was competing in the PROsport Performance AMG GT3 team alongside US trio Charlie Putman, Charles Espenlaub and Joe Foster. The trio claimed victory in the A6 Pro-Am class and third place overall on the 4.64km circuit. Christodoulou said: “It’s been a mega weekend – pretty much perfect and I couldn’t be happier with how it went. “Conditions were tough. It was 35 degrees throughout the race which really stress tests the car, the brakes, the tyres and the drivers, but the team did an amazing job, the car’s set-up was faultless and it handled so well. “Our target was on the win and the focus was to push all the way to the end which is exactly what we did so a huge congratulations to the whole team, it was truly deserved and I’m looking forward to racing with them again later in the year.” Christodoulou will join up with the team for the 24 hour race in Barcelona in September and the Circuit of the Americas race in November. He returns to action this weekend with a debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
