Free drinks and cake were on offer at Chase Terrace Methodist Church on Princess Street to mark the milestone. The Milton Suite was opened 15 years ago on August 18 and featured a meeting room and kitchen facility named in honour of local preacher Milton Spraggett. Church steward Barbara Bevan said: “Over the last 15 years, many hundreds of people have passed through our doors and used our community facilities. “We were delighted to celebrate this milestone with friends and neighbours and look forward to hosting many more people and community groups in the years ahead.” Local groups interested in using the meeting room can call 01543 670632 for more details.
