Lichfield City FC let lead slip as they are beaten by NKF Burbage

Lichfield City FC failed to build on their strong start to the season as they went down 3-1 to fellow early-season pacesetters NKF Burbage.

Jamie Hawkins’ men were level on points with their opponents going into the game and things looked bright when Dan Shepherd gave them a first half lead.

But two goals from Nathan Astill and one from Oli Bradshaw saw NKF Burbage come out on top.

Lichfield return to action on Saturday (August 25) when they travel to Chelmsley Town.
