Lichfield City FC moved back level on points with the sides at the top of the table with a 4-0 win at Chelmsley Town.

Jamie Hawkins’ men are one of six teams at the head of the Midland Football League Division One, but have played two more games than some of their rivals.

Their triumph on the road at Chelmsley came courtesy of a James Taylor hat-trick and a strike from Drew Aiton.

City will hope to make it a Bank Holiday double tomorrow when they entertain Stapenhill, kick-off 3pm.
