Lichfield City kept themselves on top of the table with a hard-fought 3-2 win at Hinckley AFC.
Jamie Hawkins’ men kept a two point barrier between themselves and nearest rivals Racing Club Warwick and Atherstone Town.
But they fell behind inside a minute of the kick-off when Jordan Wilson found the top corner.
The game was levelled when Joe Hartshorne slotted home – and the game was completely turned around when James Taylor rifled past the Hinckley keeper.
There was even time for a City third in first half stoppage time as Hartshorne finished off a loose ball after a good save.
Hinckley weren’t out of it completely though and found themselves a lifeline when Joe McLaughlin headed home.
Their task got harder though when Kieran Harrison was given a red card for a challenge on Harry Harris – and it proved to be enough to ensure Lichfield got over the line with all three points.
