The new Lidl store in Lichfield will open to customers next month. The supermarket has confirmed the shop, at the new Imperial Retail Park on Eastern Avenue, will open at 8am on 8th November. The store replaces a smaller unit further up the road. A ribbon cuttting ceremony will take place to mark the opening, with offers on some products during the first week. Lidl UK’s Regional Head of Property, Jeremy Lee, said: “We would like to thank all those who have played a part in bringing our new Lidl store to Lichfield. “It is great for us to be able to create more jobs and investment in the area, and we’re looking forward seeing everyone at the ribbon-cutting on opening day.” The new store includes a bakery, customer toilets, baby changing and increased parking. Twenty new jobs have also been created.
