A series of events are taking place for families interested in sending their children to a new Lichfield school.

Streethay Primary School will open its doors in September for children in Nursery and Reception classes, as well as Year 1 and Year 2. It is located on the Roman Heights housing development and is being run by the Shaw Education Trust. A spokesperson for the trust said: “As one of a family of schools, Streethay will benefit from our tried-and-tested methods of support, experience and expertise, as well as close links with other local schools within the trust.” Among the events taking place are:
  • 4th December, 4.30-6pm: Q&A session at Saxon Hill.
  • 6th December, 2-3pm: Tour of the sister school Seabridge Primary.
  • 11th December, 5.30pm: Children’s Christmas craft activities at Lichfield Rugby Club and a chance to have questions answered.
  • 13th December, 9.30am: Seabridge Primary Christmas Concert, followed by a tour of the school.
