The Beacon Park event shut its doors early leaving hundreds of guests with tickets for events that will no longer be going ahead.

But the organisers of the Cathedral Illuminated show have now arranged for 300 free tickets to tomorrow night’s event (22nd December) to help those who missed out on a pre-Christmas treat.

A statement said: “With support from Luxmuralis, Lichfield Business Improvement District and Cockerhoop Creative, we are pleased to be able to offer free tickets for a special showing of The Cathedral Illuminated tomorrow.

“We have limited space so tickets will be issued from the Cathedral Shop in the Three Spire Shopping Centre on a first come, first served basis and will be limited to 300 only.

“We also understand that not all Winter Wonderland customers were issued their tickets, so please come with a proof of purchase.”

The organisers of the Lichfield Food Festival are also hoping to arrange a pop-up event over the weekend. More details will be available on their Facebook page.
