Lichfield City FC came from behind to send themselves into Christmas third in the table.
Jamie Hawkins’ men found themselves a goal down against Studley after a Sean Brain strike.
Keeper Adam Jenkins made a good save to keep the deficit to one as Lichfield found themselves pegged back.
City eventually began to find their way back into the game and saw Joe Hartshorne’s cross-cum-shot come back off the woodwork.
Studley sent a free-kick just over the top as both sides slugged it out in the opening period.
The second half saw Lichfield finally level as Alex Keating climbed highest to head home from Josh Mansell’s cross.
James Taylor almost put City in front when the keeper was caught out of his goal, but no-one could convert the ball in the box.
Lichfield were looking the most likely to strike a killer blow as Taylor’s free-kick was saved and Keating struck the woodwork from the rebound.
Max Black was next to go close, while Taylor also sent an effort off target.
The goal looked like it was coming and it finally did when a defensive mix-up allowed Keating to fire home.
The result means Lichfield sit third in the Midland Football League Division One, two points behind Atherstone Town and Heather St Johns who have both played one game less.
They’ll be hoping to overhaul the front two when they travel to Stapenhill on Boxing Day.
