There will also be performances from local artists as well as talks and workshops.

A spokesman said: “We are proud of the heritage that L2F has, providing people with quality music and entertainment, much of it – like the dance displays and street processions – for free.

“This year will see our first co-production with the Garrick, in presenting the critically-acclaimed Home Service, and the rest of the weekend has something special for music fans.

“With workshops, talks and lectures, the festival looks at the folk tradition in all of its forms.”

Early bird full weekend tickets of £47 are now available. For full details and to book visit www.l2f.co.uk
