The Whittington Open Gardens 2019 event will see a variety of green spaces showcased.

The focus this year will also be on wildlife-friendly gardens, including the Community Orchard in Jubilee Park, Swan Meadow, Woodhouse Farm and St Giles Hospice.

The event will take place between 11am and 5pm on 29th and 30th June.

A spokesperson said: “Many garden owners providing refreshments and plant sales to raise money for causes close to their hearts.”

Car parking will be provided at Back Lane, with blue badge parking at St Giles Hospice, where tickets and programmes for the event will also be on sale.

Minibuses will be available to transport visitors between the gardens all day.
