Late Evans strike earns victory for Lichfield City FC

A late Jordan Evans strike was enough to earn Lichfield City FC the victory against Hinckley.

An even opening to the game saw Daniel Thurstance fire over the top as City looked to break the deadlock.

Alex Keating forced a save out of the keeper, as did Matthew Hardiman as both sides went in level at the break.

Joe Hartshorne fires over as Lichfield continued to press, while Adam Jenkins had to be alert at the other end to keep th scores even.

It looked as though City would be frustrated until Evans lashed home a free kick nine minutes from time.
