Douglas Armour has teamed up with independent vinyl record shop and record label Those Old Records to produce a series of portraits of customers with their favourite record.

A total of 26 images will be exhibited at Rugeley Library from 29th April until 25th May, before the exhibition moves to the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery for the summer.

The exhibition combines the photographic portraits with people’s own words explaining why their chosen record has meaning to them.

Chris McGranaghan, owner of Those Old Records, said: “With an age range from 12 to early 70s, this is a wonderfully crafted exhibition that captures the true essence of the shop and those that pass through it.”
