A new Wall of Support has been launched by Chasetown FC.
It was unveiled at the club’s game with Prescot Cables last month.
The first 24 granite tiles, inscribed with messages from supporters, are in place outside of the turnstile area at The Scholars Ground.
Chief executive Mick Joiner was among those who have taken a tile after dedicating his to his father Jim Joiner, an integral part of the club’s early success.
Other tiles in place in the first frame are former player and manager Charlie Blakemore, long-serving full back Andy Cox and club sponsor Crown Highways.
A spokesperson said: “The tiles cost £50 and the monies raised are ring-fenced for ground improvements, with the main target being to improve the 30-year-old floodlights.
“We encourage anyone who has has any connection with Chasetown FC since our formation 65 years ago to get involved.
“Tiles are limited to three rows of up to 16 characters.”
