Chasetown FC have appointed the manager of their new under 21 side.
The Scholars will enter a squad into the Midland Football League for the 2019/20 season.
Mark Dolman, who has experience with youth sections at the club, as well as with Hednesford Town, Brocton and Lichfield City, will take the helm of the new team.
First team boss Scott Dundas told the club’s website he was looking forward to seeing players make the progression from youth to senior football
“It’s a new venture for the club but we all believe it will be a good one,” he said.
“The league they are entering into is a good standard and ideal for the players that are still developing after leaving under 18 junior football.”
Meanwhile, Dundas said talks were continuing to build the senior squad for the coming season.
“We have been working very hard to improve the squad and we have potentially five or six new players for the coming season with the majority of last season’s squad staying.”
