Cllr Di Evans, chairman of Burntwood Town Council, said: “Our Play in the Parks have become the go-to events for young families here in Burntwood.

“We hope they’ll be enjoyed again this year by our local children, their mums, dads, carers and grandparents and that they’ll be a real success.

“I’d also like to give thanks to former member Heather Tranter who championed these events and is still working hard to help make them happen.

“I’m sure the people who come along this summer will have a great time.”
