Chasetown FC came out on top against Coleshill Town in a pre-season friendly defined by two penalty kicks.

The Scholars took the lead int he first half when George Cater’s shot was handled and Cater himself converted.

It looked like the spoils might be shared in the second half when Chasetown conceded a penalty of their own.

But keeper Curtis Pond was on hand to push away the spot kick and give his side a pre-season win.
