Talented business professionals in Lichfield and Burntwood have been given free membership to a networking group.

The 12 recipients will join the Future Faces scheme run by Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce.

The memberships have been organised by Lichfield District Council, in partnership with Tamworth Borough Council the business group.

The group will be able to attend business events, sessions and networking as well as attending the Future Faces Annual Dinner and Awards, which shines the spotlight on the talent of all young professionals in the area.

The successful applicants are from a variety of sectors, including catering, finance, marketing, photography, music education and accountancy.

Laura Sutton, owner of The Cake Spa in Lichfield, said: “As a business owner in my first year of trade, I am really excited to be part of the Future Faces membership.

“I can’t wait to get involved – it can only benefit my new business.”

James Blackman, president of the Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce, said: “We are really pleased to have been able to collaborate with the councils in this project, and hope to continue to work with them and more young professionals in Lichfield and Tamworth.
