A theatre company is bringing a festive treat to the stage in Shenstone and Stonnall.

The Mint Theatre Society will perform The Christmas Elves later this month.

The show follows the story of Sage and Onion, two of Santa’s helpers who are fed up with making toys so leave to start a new life.

A spokesperson said: “Along the way they meet a Shoemaker who’s finding it hard to sell his shoes – can Sage and Onion save the day?

“Along with some wonderful storytelling, this show features riotous humour and toe-tapping tunes courtesy of Elfis, Nancy Shoenatra, and Lady Mariah of Carey.

“Guaranteed to entertain audience members of all ages, this fabulous play is the perfect way to start the festive period.”

The Christmas Elves is at Shenstone Village Hall on 29th November and Stonewall Village Hall on 30th November.

Tickets are priced at £8.50 for adults and £7.50 for under 16s. Call 07783 823390 or email ticketsthemint@hotmail.com to book.
