Two of the candidates for the 2019 General Election have provisionally agreed to take part in a hustings event in Burntwood.

Current Conservative MP Michael Fabricant and Lib Dem hopeful Cllr Paul Ray have thrown their hats into the ring for the 12th December vote so far.

And both have now said they would be willing to take part in a pre-election debate in Burntwood.

Cllr Ray had challenged his Tory rival to take a hustings event to the town.
