An award-winning storyteller will explore the relationship between humans and their four-legged friends at a performance in Lichfield.
Maria Whatton will present City of Dogs – Storytelling for Grown-ups at The Hub at St Mary’s on 15th November.
The piece follows a trail of stories as they unfold in a kingdom where the air is crowded with barks and howls.
Anthony Evans, creative director of The hub at St Mary’s said: “Storytelling is often misunderstood as being only for children, but it provides a wonderful opportunity to forget about the outside world and escape into whole word of wonder – there is no Brexit in the City of Dogs!
“So it’s perfect for adults too, and Maria really excels at creating that world for people.
“I’ve worked with her for over 15 years and she never disappoints.
“Come and grab a cozy glass of wine, take a seat and be prepared for a perfect antidote to those cold and dark nights that are setting in.”
Tickets are £8 and can be booked at www.thehubstmarys.co.uk or by calling 01543 414749.
