Lichfield City FC slipped further behind the league leaders after a weekend defeat at Cadbury Athletic.

Leicester Road’s win at Kirby Muxloe means Jay Hawkins’ men now trail the front-runners by ten points with a single game in hand.

City had been in front in the game in the first half, but two goals in the final 15 minutes – including one in stoppage time – left the visitors tasting defeat.

Lichfield will look to put the loss behind them when they entertain Bilston in the Walsall Senior Cup tomorrow (19th November).
