The Lichfield Garrick has unveiled its new winter and spring season.
The theatre will welcome West End productions, musicals, live music and movies.
Among the highlights are Bill Kenwright’s The Cat and the Canary and Willy Russell’s musical smash hit Blood Brothers.
A lighter note is provided by Menopause The Musical 2: Cruising Through the Menopause, while younger theatre-goers will be able to enjoy Milkshake Live.
Musical offerings see local star Tony Christie taking to the stage as well as Broadway star Marisha Wallace and jazz singer Stacey Kent.
An flavour will be offered when Dubliners stars Sean Cannon, Eamonn Campbell, Paul Watchorn and Gerry O’Connor take to the stage as the Dublin Legends, while Spirit of the Dance brings more culture from the Emerald Isle to Lichfield.
If Latin is more your flavour then Strictly’s Graziano Di Prima’s Havana Nights show will fit the bill.
Other big name productions in the calendar include Jayne Eyre, The Moustrap and HIV activist Nathaniel Hall’s one man show, First Time.
Karen Foster, Lichfield Garrick’s chief executive, said: “We are very excited to be presenting a fantastic new season.
“As well as musicals, plays and star names we will be presenting our own Lichfield Garrick Young Company’s first musical production – Jesus Christ Superstar – and then at Easter they will be performing Shakespeare’s The Tempest.
“We will also be hosting Making Theatre, a series of activities for children across the half term in February. This includes a baby disco for parents, babies and young children, as well as Storytime Sessions and Basic Backstage where children can meet professional production staff to learn about creating theatre.”
