Members of Lichfield Swimming Club are celebrating after success at the Stafford Apex Open meeting.
Around 40 swimmers took to the pool at Stafford Leisure Centre for 15 events over distances between 50m and 400m.
Their efforts were rewarded with a return of more than 80 medals, with 13-year-old Ben Doody collecting 11 from his 11 races, including five golds.

The meet also saw the swimmers have the chance to gain qualifying times for the Staffordshire County Championships in February – a feat now achieved by more than 30 Lichfield members including Eloise Froude and Fynn Ward
Lichfield’s success was topped off after they were named top visiting club after collecting the most points across the two days of competition.
Head coach Amaro Viloria said: “I am very proud of the hard work of all our swimmers and coaches.
“Teamwork is really important and it is very much on display here at Lichfield Swimming Club.
“Parents want to help at the club and also trust in the decisions of the coaches. When this happens, swimmers respond well to harmony of the environment, and everyone is respectful of each other.
“Our targets next year are the county, regional and British Championships, where I have no doubt we will see excellent results from the swimmers representing our club.”
