A festive treat is being served up at The Hub at St Mary’s when the Lichfield Cathedral Chamber Choir perform.

The Christmas concert takes place at 7.30pm on 17th December and will feature carols and works by composers including Vaughan Williams, Walton, Liszt and Bartok.

The choir regularly performs at churches and cathedrals across the UK, on BBC Radio and has undertaken a number of international tours.

It is under the direction of Martyn Rawles and will be accompanied on the piano by Liam Condon.

Nick Sedgwick, Chairman of St Mary’s, said:

“We are delighted to be welcoming such wonderful local singers as part of our second season of classical music concerts at the Hub.

“This season is proving especially popular and tickets for this Christmas concert have been selling very fast – so we are expecting a full house.

“This concert’s varied programme promises something for everyone and provides festive sparkle.”
