Lichfield and Burntwood residents struggling to afford to heat their homes this winter are being offered free energy saving advice.

Lichfield District Council’s Warmer Homes, Greener District helpline is offering support on issues such as tackling heating and hot water issues, grants and assistance and dealing with energy suppliers.

Gareth Davies, head of regulatory services, housing and wellbeing, said: “If you are struggling to heat your home and you are worried it is affecting your health, please call our free phone line for expert advice.

“There may be grants or other initiatives our energy experts can help you access, so please do get in touch.”
