The stories of Second World War evacuees will be told as part of a series of talks at the National Memorial Arboretum.

The national site for remembrance in Alrewas will shine the spotlight on its 380 memorials from Christmas Day until 5th January.

The 12 Days of Christmas Memorial Talks series will launch on 25th December with a Facebook broadcast exploring the lives of those evacuated during the war.

Then at 10.30am and 2.30pm each day from 26th December a different free talk will take place exploring the personal stories that led to the dedication of each of the memorials featured.
