Drivers in Lichfield have faced delays after part of the A38 was closed.
Police were called after a man died following a fall from a bridge over the carriageway near the Clay Mills turn-off near Burton-on-Trent at around 6.45am this morning (21st January).
The road has remained closed while investigations continue and drivers travelling to and from Lichfield are being urged to seek alternative routes.
