Cannabis plants seized by police in Burntwood

Cannabis plants have been seized by police after a raid in Burntwood.

Officers from Lichfield Neighbourhood Policing Team visited an address at Rowan Grove on Saturday (30th May).

Chief Inspector Mark Smith said:

“Great work by officers in executing a warrant in Rowan Grove, resulting in the recovery of a number of cannabis plants, class A drugs and cash.”

A man was arrested as part of the operation.

  1. A plant that was illegal to have? Along with Class A and Cash which no doubt are proceeds of crime. This was very good work. Well done to all involved.

  2. That’s a shame. Bit of light medical relief during Covid stress.
    Legalise for personal use and get a pragmatic drugs policy.
