Police are appealing for information after tools were stolen from a vehicle in Lichfield.

The incident happened between 9am on 28th June and 7.30am the following day on Tamworth Road.

PCSO Andrea Horsnall said:

“The offenders approached a Renault van parked on a residential driveway on Tamworth Road and cut a hole in the rear door of the vehicle.

“They then popped the lock to gain access to the interior and stole the power tools stored inside.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 78 of 29/06/2.

  1. If they stopped turning our streetlights off in the evening it would go a long way to stopping crime. I assume this is happening all over our city?

    I’ve had tools stolen myself in february, help from the authorities was non existent

    Twice in the last 3 months I’ve chased people from our courtyard at the rear of our houses
